General Cottage Information
Perched above the village of Little Haven, some with views over St. Brides Bay to St. Davids, Ramsey Island and beyond, Woodlands farmhouse and its traditional stone-built and slated outbuildings have been converted into a group of holiday cottages of a very high standard. They are graded four Dragons by the Welsh Tourist Board.
Every cottage has its own fenced garden and conservatory. A terrace and garden furniture, in effect, an additional room for living and eating out of doors, on the private garden side of each cottage. You will find ample space for car parking and dinghies.
Each cottage has a colour television set and is equipped with a modern kitchen. Fittings include a microwave oven, a hob unit, a separate oven with the exception of Holly and Hawthorn cottages, where the cooker is free standing. A refrigerator, an electric kettle, a toaster, an automatic dishwasher (at Hawthorn and Pine) and a stainless steel sink unit in every case. There are complete sets of cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils, and every cottage has a washer / dryer, an outside clothes line, an iron and an ironing board. The sitting areas are close-carpeted throughout, dining areas and bedrooms have carpets or rugs while kitchens and bathroom suites have vinyl or tiled floors. Cots and high chairs are also available.
All beds and bunks are complete with mattresses, pillows, duvets and ample blankets, sheets and pillowcases. Unless we have particularly mentioned otherwise all single beds are not less than 3'0 " wide, all double beds are 4'6". No bed linen or blankets are supplied for cots. No other linen is provided, however, we can provide towels at an extra cost.All cottages have electrical heating in every room. Water heating is by immersion heaters. Electricity use is fully under your own control with £1 coin-in-the-slot meters.
The cottages are available throughout the whole year apart from the month of February, when we redecorate them throughout. The price list shows the available dates and the rates applicable. The charge for rental covers all cleaning and other service charges between lettings. All lettings start from 4.00 pm on the first day and end at 10.00 am on the last day, so leaving time for us to carry out thorough cleaning.

If you intend to bring a pet please tell us when confirming your booking. We will ask you to make sure that the garden is fully cleaned up before you leave. We must in every case, however, reserve the right to claim in addition the cost of repairs to put right damage caused by pet animals. We ourselves had no hesitation when our children were young in allowing them to make their way independently down to Little Haven and Settlands Cove. A footpath winds down thes valley from Woodlands across the mill stream and so along Strawberry Hill to the harbour wall (ten to fifteen minutes) the Haven beach and Settlands. Cars have to go the long way round, down Blockett's Lane, but there is ample parking tucked alongside the Inshore Lifeboat Station when you get there.
